Thomas is back from his trip and has written about his exciting trip for our website.

This year I had another opportunity to go back to Romania for the Inaction Summer Camp in Brasov. This summer camp is aimed at city kids to get them out of the city into the country and help them improve their English by talking with and learning from native English speakers (even if a couple were American).

The camp starts off with the opening ceremony where we usually do a dance in front of the kids as a group then we introduce ourselves and tell them a bit about us. Each evening had a different focus, we had a quiz night, karaoke, talent show, games night and the final night was spent around the camp fire where the kids sat round a large fire, took lots of pictures and had a final dance.

I feel very lucky to have been given the chance to partake in this unique experience and to have been allowed the time away from work in order to do so. I have met people from many different walks of life and have made many friends.  Romania is a beautiful country which is great for travelling around, there is lots to see and there are some great people to meet and talk to.
