Andy attended the Midlands Intelligent Mobility Conference 2018 at Nottingham Conference Centre following an invitation by Dr Delia Dimitriu who is a Research Fellow at Transport Systems Catapult.
Dr Delia Dimitriu is one of the world’s leading authorities on aviation’s environmental impact, with focus on sustainability and she was part of a team that won the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize for its work on climate change.
Delia presented during the event and Andy attended a number of key note presentations and Q&A sessions on Intelligent and Connected Mobility and the engineering development behind this technology as well as aspects focusing on the environment and how to improve it.
He was also a key participant in the Actions For Industry workshop which addressed transportation as a whole and the future challenges faced. Key speakers included Paul Campion, CEO of the Transport Systems Catapult and Professor Phil Blythe, Chief Technical Advisor for the Dept. for Transport.
