Electric Go-Kart

Blair Project

The Blair Project is the UK’s first STEM challenge for schools, colleges and apprenticeship training organisations to recycle used petrol go karts and transform them into high powered electric vehicles which can then go on to test and race against other organisations to establish which is the fastest and most energy efficient.

The Blair Project sent out an urgent request for an engineering company to help build a new electric go kart to replace one that had been stolen. Cal International stepped up to the plate and accepted the challenge of producing a ground up ready to race electric go kart in just five days.
